We paid for VIP area for Saturday's event. Had to queue to get in...tables outside of marquee were basic with plastic garden chairs...food was nice, but small portions...had to listen to helicopter rides the whole time before airshow started, & could not hear speaker over tannoy system, no vintage aircraft or vehicles near VIP area( 1 plane was put in front of us just before airshow started). Airshow started at 12.45, with some good displays. We were disappointed with the £140+ ticket price per person, as above mentioned things were stated on website as being included! Programmes are £10 & include less than half a page of the schedule for the days events! I would not pay this again for this event, as definitely not worth the ticket price in my opinion. Just pay the gate price or the extra £15 for seating near front fenced area. I know a lot of work goes into organising this event, but I did not feel like a VIP at all.

Always a lovely place to visit. Drive in & park up & enjoy the countryside views. Watch planes take off & land, if your lucky catch some parachutes decending.

Headcorn international airshow. Can get very close to static planes and flightline also very close to crowd line so great for viewing. Lots of stalls and food outlets, museum, funfair. Parking close and good.

My first time at Headcorn Air Show. Arrived at 0945 on my scooter. Parked up but had to queue in the carpark for 50 minutes in extreme heat, once i had entered the arena i was surprised how close to the airfield i was the planes were taking off just 30 feet away (incredable) there was plenty of places to eat and drink and to get ice creams, a must in todays heat. There were plenty of stalls and the museam was free. The people were very friendly, will be going again next year.
