Poppy’s Cottage

Hernhill is a quiet village in the heart of the Swale, positioned midway between Whitstable's shingle beaches and the medieval streets of Canterbury—each about 6 miles away. Poppy's Cottage stands on the village edge with no immediate neighbours, backing onto open countryside while remaining close enough to reach the coast or town centre in under 15 minutes by car.

The house spreads across two floors with three bedrooms (a kingsize, a super kingsize, and a zip-and-link twin) and two bathrooms serving six guests. Downstairs, the open-plan kitchen and dining area has a full range of cooking equipment and opens onto a large lawned garden with patio seating and a barbecue. Upstairs bedrooms overlook the countryside. A woodburner in the living room, gas central heating and all linen provided mean the place functions as a proper home from the moment you arrive. Wi-Fi and parking for three cars are included. One well-behaved pet can stay free.

The setting suits families or groups wanting a rural base with easy access to Whitstable for seaside days, Faversham for independent shops and restaurants, or Canterbury for historic sightseeing. No smoking inside the cottage.
