The Garden Wing at Mount Ephraim
Swale
Faversham, Whitstable and Canterbury are all within easy driving distance, each offering something different—a working market town, a fishing port with a shingle beach, and a medieval cathedral city respectively. From the property itself, miles of country walks start at the gate, and two nearby pubs welcome dogs. The 10-acre grounds here include formal terraced gardens, a rose garden, a Japanese rock garden, and a water garden; guests can explore freely during their stay.
The Garden Wing is a six-bedroom extension to the Grade II listed Mount Ephraim house, arranged over two floors with space for 12 people. Downstairs there's a sitting room with a woodburner, a quieter snug, a games room with a snooker table, and a large kitchen with an Aga and full cooking facilities. Upstairs holds the bedrooms—two kingsize, two double, and two zip-and-link twin rooms—plus a bathroom with a bath and shower room. One well-behaved dog stays free. Essentials like heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; there's also a shared tennis court and parking for six cars on site.
This suits groups wanting somewhere to base themselves while exploring Kent, or families after a house with enough room to spread out and entertain indoors during quieter days.
