Excellent stay, room was perfect, both spacious and and clean with a fridge with fresh milk supplied as needed, amenities were perfect with toilet and shower and the shower was perfect for my husband after completing the Trek26 for Alzhemers in pouring rain. The location was perfect for everything we were doing, everything was within walking distance including the front. There was a lovely homely atmosphere to the guest house and we were made to feel incredibly welcome, little notes on the breakfast hampers every morning was a lovely touch, Nothing was an inconvenience and it was great value for money. There really was no downs to this stay other than the weather so would definetly recommend Rivendell Guest House as a perfect B&B or you can opt out of breakfast so versatile to either. Super stay!!! Kevin & Lynn couldn’t have been anymore helpful or accommodating. Lovely B&B, as soon as you walk in, the chilled relaxing atmosphere hits you. Clean, homely and super comfy. Even though we were in the front of house it was so quiet. We checked in on a Sunday, and missed the supermarket closing time ( as wanted to grab a bottle of wine) to have whilst watching TV in the snug with the fire on. Kevin came out with 2 large glasses of wine and a bowl of crisps. Such a lovely gesture. Great location with east access to town and amenities. We have already recommended to our friends.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rivendell. Lyn catered for all our needs and was very welcoming. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. It is just a small walk to Town where there are plenty of restaurants ,pubs and cafes. If you love walking this is a perfect place to stay to access the South West Coastal path.

Me and my son booked for two nights but only stayed for one due to completing out charity walk. I wish we could have stayed on, the room was lovely and very central, the hosts were great and Swanage was lovely and I wish I could have seen more of it. Will be booking again on a leisure trip when I visit Swanage again.
