I had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Rookery! Alan was so kind and attentive, always asking if I needed anything and giving me suggestions on what to do during the day. The room was lovely and had a great view of the sea! Breakfast was delicious too and there were lots of breakfast options to choose from. They have a few pets - two dogs (who i didn’t hear a peep from) and two cats, one of whom became my friend and kept me company while I was waiting for my breakfast! I will definitely come back to stay in the future!

Perfect hosts, can't do enough for you. Food cooked to perfection every time, rooms are palatial with everything you need and more. Plenty of local knowledge too from the hosts 😀

I have to say the Rookery is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at. It’s clean, tidy and they are so good at attention to detail, the bedding and furniture is lovely and glass and huge windows are so clean it doesn’t look like there’s glass in the windows. On arrival they were so welcoming I felt they were so glad we stopped by to stay. The rooms are lovely and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The food is excellent and it’s just a few minutes walk to the beach. I would highly recommend staying here!!! If I could give my stay here more stars I would. Thank you for having us. Hope to see you again soon!

Stayed here for a few nights with my wife. Very close to the front and all amenities in the town. The reception on arrival was excellent - very welcoming and efficient. The breakfast menu had an ample range of options (and the tea and coffee was the best!). It has the bonus of a lounge and bar selling drinks at reasonable prices - and the ales are well kept. The room and bed were exceptionally comfortable - and the en suite shower and toilet were very modern. Simply the best B and B we've stayed in.
