Brynymor Cottage

Brynymor Cottage is arranged upside-down to make the most of its position on the Swansea hillside. The ground floor holds a galley kitchen with electric oven, hob, dishwasher and washing machine, along with a separate dining room. Climb the stairs and the first-floor living room opens out through A-frame windows to views across the Gower landscape. This is where the cottage breathes—the main space for evening relaxation, with a 42-inch TV and gas fire to warm the room on cooler days.

Three bedrooms sleep five: a kingsize with its own ensuite shower, a room with zip-and-link beds that can be pushed together, and a single. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all provided. Outside, a patio and lawned garden face the view, with garden furniture, a summerhouse and storage for bikes or equipment. The driveway holds three cars. The property is no-smoking throughout.

Brynymor Cottage stands on the owner's smallholding just a few minutes' walk from Llangennith Beach, one of the Gower Peninsula's best-known stretches of sand and a draw for surfers. The stream and pond in the garden are unfenced, so children need supervision. Three steps lead up to the front entrance.
