Murton Farm - Hazeldene

Photo: James Tilby

Hazeldene is a terraced house in a village on the edge of the Gower, positioned between quiet countryside and Swansea itself. The beach lies 1.5 miles away; a pub serving food and local shops are 100 yards down the road. The property sleeps four across three bedrooms: a double and two singles. There are two bathrooms, one with a shower cubicle and one separate toilet.

Downstairs holds a living room with a 32" TV and open fire, and a dining room leading to a kitchen equipped with an electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Bed linen and Wi-Fi are provided; heating and electricity are metered and payable at the end of your stay. The front and rear gardens are lawned with a patio and furniture. Parking for two cars is on site. The house does not permit smoking.

This is a base for exploring the Gower Peninsula's coastal paths and beaches, or for cycling, walking and other outdoor pursuits. The location also suits anyone wanting a quieter village setting with easy access to city amenities when needed.

My family stay at the Murton Farm Cottages for our Gower holidays. We always go to the Murton Farm Shop for food and treats. Great range of fruit and veg and always great quality. Friendly staff and plenty of parking. Thank you

A great farm shop! The large and level car park is quite easy to find, with the entrance having a small sign. The shop is large and has a great variety of fresh vegetables, bread and cakes at great prices. The staff are friendly and hard working, and the shop is very busy, which is a testament to the quality of the stock. Only open on Friday and Saturday. Really worth visiting.

Called in today, fresh vegetables and fruit. Prices are very reasonable here and a lot cheaper than the supermarket. Food fresher also, ready for you to pick up as its all on display. Shoping trolley to help you ,large car park and all on the flat so disabled persons can move securely in the large open shop area. I'm back next week so give it a go and see for yourselves.
