Spyte Cottage works well for couples or families of up to four looking for a countryside base with access to both nature reserves and beaches. The converted farm building sits on a smallholding with views across fields towards the Gower, and you get the whole place to yourself. On the ground floor, an open-plan living and dining area with a working kitchen opens onto a rear courtyard with seating. One double bedroom is also downstairs, along with a shower room. Upstairs, a mezzanine bedroom takes in views of the rolling countryside beyond.

The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are included. You can park one car on site, with an additional space available if needed. The location puts you within walking distance of the Lliw reservoirs and Cwm Clydach nature reserve, as well as local pubs in the village. Swansea, Mumbles and the Gower beaches are a short drive away. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The property is non-smoking.
