About Premier Inn Swansea North
Premier Inn Swansea North is a low-rise property spread across two separate buildings, both just two floors high, set back on Upper Fforest Way with free parking to the front and side. The straightforward, functional design keeps things simple for anyone passing through Swansea or heading on to the M4 and the rest of South Wales.
Inside, the 63 rooms are en-suite with spacious layouts and notably good showers, and accessible rooms are available. Some travellers have found the lack of air conditioning a drawback in warmer weather, so it's worth bearing in mind. Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, and there's a restaurant on site serving breakfast as well as evening dining, with drinks available in the room too. An electric vehicle charge point and 24-hour reception add to the practical appeal.
The surrounding area offers golf, fishing and horse riding nearby, along with entertainment options and a pub or bar within easy reach, making it a reasonable base for exploring beyond the hotel itself. Free on-site parking across both buildings makes arrival straightforward for drivers.
What guests say
Booked this for the weekend to explore Wales and we had a lovely stay. Its in the perfect location to get to places which is a bonus. The staff are lovely and very welcoming, always happy to help you if you need anything. Brewers fayre next door was definitely very handy, food was lovely. Finnegans fish and chips next door was also a must, their food is yummy and reasonably priced too. It was very quiet at night too considering the location of the hotel, which was nice. Room was also clean which was good. Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely be staying again.

I booked on behalf of my mum, who was travelling, and Shauna the receptionist was fantastic from start to finish. Despite a late check-in, she made sure everything was smooth and that my mum felt welcomed and comfortable. She was extremely helpful, accommodating, and very professional throughout. Her kindness and efficiency really stood out. Highly recommend!! excellent service and a real credit to the team.

Nice modern hotel with clean and comfortable rooms in a good location for the Swansea area. There's a supermarket and various coffee/food outlets very near which was very handy. The TV is a bit complicated though - if you can't find a channel like U&Drama I recommend scrolling until you get to channels numbered 800 and above, then scroll down until you find it - that worked for me. But overall a very nice stay with lovely meals in their Brewers Fayre inn which was just over the car park so no distance at all really on foot.

The hotel was much the same as any other, but the room was bonkers. From memory it said it didn't have AC, which is fine as it was only 15 outside. The room was 28 degrees. Moreover, the windows were sealed like it had AC. The controls on the wall, also looked like AC, turned it on, felt cool so left it running for a few minutes, until I discovered it was throwing out hot air.... It made for a challenging sleep!
