About Village Hotel Swansea
Village Hotel Swansea is a modern, purpose-built hotel on the SA1 waterfront, part of the redeveloped docks area a short walk from the Maritime Quarter and city centre. As part of a UK-wide chain, it offers a consistent, family-friendly standard of room along with an on-site gym, swimming pool and casual bar-restaurant.
The leisure club, including pool and spa treatments, is a genuine draw for families looking to combine a Gower beach day with an evening swim back at the hotel, and the informal restaurant covers breakfast through to dinner without needing to leave the building.
Its waterfront position, close to the marina and a short drive from the Liberty Stadium, makes it a practical choice for both leisure breaks and match-day stays, with the city centre and station a short walk or taxi ride away.

What guests say
Stayed at Village Hotel Swansea during my son’s graduation and had a very pleasant experience. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast staff were especially friendly and welcoming, making for a great start to the day. It was also a bonus to have the leisure centre in the same building, and the pub was excellent, serving fresh beer with a smile in a relaxed atmosphere. The only issue was that the air conditioning in our room wasn’t working. However, the hotel handled the situation well by giving us complimentary access to the gym facilities, which was a thoughtful gesture and much appreciated. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Village Hotel Swansea to anyone visiting the area.

Had a stopover here. A few things to note as somehow we missed the info when booking. 1. Parking is £5.00 2. Pool & spa are extra charges. Unfortunately the jacuzzi was broken ..the eve we stopped over was quite chilly & I would have liked to use it. 3. The window opened in our bedroom slightly..not enough for the breeze to cool the room down..& the a/ c system was definitely not working!! But..we had comfortable beds & good wi fi. We appreciated the staff giving us a room the opposite end to thebar since England were playing in the world cup..& it was an overnight match!!! Probably good job it was in Wales. 👍😁 No starbucks as it was undergoing a re fit which is possibly why the price was good value .

I visit here for work every few months and could fault it. Comfy bed, good size rooms, lovely bathroom. Have used the gym only once and will plan to use the pool on other occasions in the future. Staff always super helpful when checking in (the screens never seem to work when I’ve checked in!) but always someone there to help! Great to have a bar/grill on site and a Starbucks too. Would recommend if you’re in the area and need a base.

Stayed in most hotels in Swansea area but this was my 1st stay at the Village. Myself and my colleague both had different experiences of the stay. Check in was smooth and quick, with self check in at a bank of screens in the foyer. I had a room on the 4th floor whilst my colleague was on the 3rd. The only problem I had was with getting the TV to work as it was saying there was a weak signal or poor connection but on reporting to staff they said to press 1 on remote, and this cured the problem. My room was nicely presented and the air conditioning was welcome in the hottest week of the year. Unfortunately the air con in my colleagues room was not working and even after. Being supplied with a fan he said the room was still uncomfortable and he had trouble sleeping dur to the heat. On the last night he was awoken at 6am by the booming music coming from gym classes below, as he had left window open owing to the heat and air con problem. The Village app which gets you discounts is excellent and the 5 - 7 happy hour prices via the app are very good. Breakfast was good, decent coffee from the machine and a good selection of items. Scrambled Eggs were in buffet but other types could be ordered. Free parking and plenty of place despite the hotel and gym being busy. Short walk to Marina area or into Swansea centre if you want to eat outside of the hotel, or just go for a walk.
