Pollard Cottage

Pollard Cottage comes ready for a self-catering stay with everything needed included. The kitchen has an electric range, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer, so you can cook as much or as little as you like. Heating, hot water, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all covered. Initial logs for the wood burner are provided, and there's a welcome pack when you arrive. One dog stays free, and parking for one car is on site.

The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms: a double on the ground floor, a kingsize with dressing area, and two singles. The single bathroom has a roll-top bath and separate shower cubicle, plus a separate toilet. The ground floor also contains the living room with Freeview TV and a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. An enclosed, lawned garden with seating and a BBQ opens from the property. Low doorways around 5ft 6in head height are a feature of this period home.

This listed Tudor building sits in a conservation-area square opposite The Star Inn. The mainline railway station is a 7-minute walk away, with regular trains to London. Lingfield itself has shops and restaurants within walking distance. No smoking inside the cottage.
