Visited The Dick Institute for the first time in many years. As you enter, the Library is to the left and the right of the hallway. The right hand side has a small cafe inside with only a few tables. I had a very nice Cappuccino and cake for £5 before exploring the rest of the Institute. There are renovations going on atm, with the Art Gallery and right hand side of the upper floor closed. I still managed to spend 2hrs there. A very beautiful building inside with dark mahogany wood work throughout. There is plenty of on street parking available nearby. Definitely worth visiting, highly recommend.

Nice library and museum at the Dick Institue. With An impressive historic building with plenty of character. The architecture is striking and well maintained, making it a standout landmark in the area. It’s a worthwhile place to visit if you’re exploring Kilmarnock
