We ate here for Sunday roast and it was such a good dining experience. The service was really good and it was such a lovely setting. We had the beef, pork and chicken roast and all really enjoyed our meals. They had a good choice of desserts and the popcorn cheese cake and the pear dessert were the perfect way to finish off a fantastic meal. They had a good range of pies, will definitely be coming back to try one of them.

Visited here last Friday evening with a big group of around 40 of us. Had all pre ordered food. Two courses for £25 which was very reasonable and the food was amazing. Pub is really warm and welcoming. We also got put into our own room so we wouldn't disturb everyone else with our noise. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Absolutely lovely place and would love to go back some time.

Visited for a family meal today and had to leave a review as had such a great experience. We all have things we can't eat but they accommodated us all. I had the vegan cottage pie, so tasty. The food was amazing and the staff super friendly and helpful. Thanks to Tamsyn and all the staff that served us, 10 stars 🌟 🤩

Nice bar and friendly barmaids. We had accommodation for two nights. However, there was no running hot water, so had to boil the kettle for a wash, however, the plug was broken so couldn't remove it to drain the sink. The shower was rubbish and the bed was rock hard and rusted loudly every time we moved. The tea and milk wasn't topped up so 3 teabags for two nights just wasn't enough. For over a £110 a night, I wouldn't recommend it. A complimentary drink and croissants were provided for failure to have hot water. Not sure why the place was open for room bookings if the basics like hot water weren't provided though. I run an Airbnb and wouldn't dream of opening for trade without hot water. Unheard of.
