The room was clean and well presented and the establishment is at a great location. However , the WiFi was not working at all , the coffee machine inside the room was awfully filthy and there was no hot water available from taps or showers after 5 minutes of waiting.

The weather was dreadful and all we wanted was somewhere warm and comfortable within easy reach of the centre so we wouldn't have far to walk for supper. Beaufort Lodge was just fine. Great access to the centre, safe, free parking, comfortable room, great bed, really clean. Just great.

Easy to find and had plenty of parking when I arrived. Communication for check in and check out was very good. The ensuite room was great - very clean, nice temperature, and very well-appointed. The lodge does not offer breakfast or dining but is just a 5 minute walk into the city centre. Overall it was great value - can highly recommend and would return.

Beaufort Lodge is a gem - really glad that we chose to stay there rather than one of the bland chain hotels. Very conveniently centrally located and within easy walking distance of Tesco should you wish to grab a cheap quick breakfast or snack. Beaufort Lodge has ample CCTV monitored parking at front. Richard the host was most helpful.
