Heron Lodge

Woodland surrounds Heron Lodge, with a lake just a few metres away and six acres of grounds to explore. Trees and established vegetation create habitat for birds and wildlife throughout the setting. Fishing is available on-site for keen or beginner anglers. Exeter lies a few miles north, within reach for shopping, museums and restaurants when you want them, though the lodge itself sits far enough back to feel secluded.

The whole property is yours alone. Ground-floor living means everything is accessible: open-plan living and dining space with a woodburner and French doors onto the terrace, a well-equipped kitchen for cooking proper meals, a bedroom with a king bed and ensuite wet room, and a second bedroom with two single beds served by a separate bathroom. Essentials like heating, electricity, linen and towels are included, along with Wi-Fi. A cot and highchair are available if needed.

Your private hot tub sits on the furnished terrace, the obvious place to spend an evening after walking the grounds or cycling nearby. The lodge does not permit smoking. Around the property are opportunities for rambling, cycling, golf and horse riding in the surrounding area.
