Kingfisher Lodge

Kingfisher Lodge is a ground-floor property where everything unfolds on one level. You enter into an open-plan living space anchored by a woodburner, with a 52-inch TV and French doors that open directly onto a terrace. The kitchen is fitted with electric cooking, dishwasher and all the essentials for self-catering. One bedroom has a kingsize bed and ensuite shower room; the other two singles and a separate family bathroom with bath complete the layout.

The private terrace is the real draw: it overlooks the grounds and holds the hot tub, which comes as standard, plus garden furniture for lingering over breakfast or a drink. The lodge sits within six acres of wooded grounds dotted with fishing lakes, though these grounds are shared with other properties on-site. Wi-Fi is included, heating and hot water are covered, and bed linen and towels are provided. Logs for the woodburner are available on request. The site itself is a few miles south of Exeter, putting you close to the city's museums and shops whilst keeping you in countryside with walking, cycling and fishing all nearby.

No smoking inside. One well-behaved pet is welcome. A cot and highchair are available if needed.
