Kingsford Farm Cottages - Honeysuckle Cottage sits on a 65-acre farm at the head of the Teign Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Exeter cathedral city is five miles away, yet the setting feels entirely remote. The Teign Valley itself offers established walking routes, and Dartmoor National Park is a short drive further. A pub and restaurant are two miles off; the beach fifteen miles.
The cottage sleeps three in a double bedroom and a single, with a shower room, living room with woodburner and Freeview television, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking. A small garden has seating; the wider grounds include a fishing lake with ducks, shared with the owner's property and one other cottage. Fishing is free. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and logs for the burner are included, along with electricity and on-site parking for two cars. The property is no-smoking.
This works for couples or small families wanting genuine peace, whether visiting for summer holidays or taking advantage of the woodburner during winter. The spring woodland displays of daffodils and bluebells draw regular visitors. Nearby you can also try horse riding or golf.

The setting of kingsford Farm Lodges is very nice, very peaceful, and the only noise comes from wildlife and cows adjoining the site. There are just 4 "proper" log cabins on the site and are in good size plots. If you are looking for a place to hide away, then this is the place. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, although a few areas disappointing, the sofa and chair was stain marked, baking trays past their best, toilet roll holder rusty, and the hot tub was good but didn't seem to fully function as water was cold coming from some jets, the tumble dryer didn't work and came up fault code E13. Main bedroom bedding had nasty smell and host did replace that did improve but not remove. The road to the property is 2 miles of single track with only a few passing places and the road has a lot of potholes. But, for the price we paid, we were happy with our stay at Kingsford Farm Lodges,.

Brilliant stay, super cozy lodge with great hot tub and views! We were in lodge number 3 and had some ducks and other wildlife around the lodge which was nice to see. Distance is around 15-20 mins from Exeter centre which is handy if you do want to pop out for the day! 100% recommend and will come back!
