Newton Abbot sits on the edge of Dartmoor, within reach of both Exeter and Plymouth. Lavender Cottage is a two-bedroom base for families or groups of four wanting a full property to themselves. The accommodation spreads across three floors: a games room on the lower ground with table football and darts; a ground floor living space with woodburner and a separate kitchen and dining area; and two bedrooms with a bathroom upstairs. One bedroom has a double bed, the other two singles. A second bathroom sits on the lower ground.
The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—gas cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and separate freezer. Heating, electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are provided. There's an enclosed courtyard with garden furniture and a barbecue for outdoor meals. One parking permit is included. A travel cot and highchair are available for families with young children, and one dog stays free of charge.
The Wild Goose Inn stands within a mile. No smoking is permitted inside. Check-in is after 3pm and checkout before 10am.
