Little Dunley Cottages - Apple Lodge

Apple Lodge is a single-storey cottage built in 2022, designed around an open-plan living space that flows directly into the garden through bi-fold doors. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms sleep six comfortably. The main bedroom has a super king bed and ensuite with walk-in shower; the other two bedrooms each contain two single beds. A separate bathroom offers both bath and walk-in shower, and the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking—oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine included alongside bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi. Underfloor heating keeps the cottage warm through cooler months.

The enclosed garden has seating and a barbecue, while a private hot tub for six sits outside. Guests can use the shared heated indoor pool and games room elsewhere on the 24-acre estate, plus a tennis court and fishing (licence required). There is parking for three cars and an electric car charging point. The grounds stretch across unspoilt countryside on the edge of Dartmoor, with Pixie Wood nearby and sandy beaches at Teignmouth within 20 minutes' drive. The location suits families or groups wanting a base for exploring Devon's attractions—Paignton Zoo, Crealy Theme Park and the steam railway along the River Dart are all accessible. Smoking is not permitted in the property.
