When it's time for a proper back-to-basics adventure in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Giltar Grove Camping delivers. This family-friendly pop-up site sits on farmland with sea views, just five minutes' walk from the Wales Coast Path – perfect for hikers tackling that epic coastal trail. Facilities are deliberately simple: a portable toilet, hot shower, wash basin and drinking water on the level grass field, with no electricity but the freedom to park right beside your tent and light campfires under the stars.
Tenby's supermarkets are a five-minute drive for provisions, or there's a farm shop and café within walking distance. A couple of Penally pubs are nearby for nights when you'd rather someone else did the cooking. The site's unassuming charm earned it a cameo – Doctor Who filmed in the adjacent field in early 2023. Prices remain reasonable, and while it's basic by design, that's precisely the point for those seeking spectacular scenery without the frills.

Really comfortable & super clean room. Stayed for 3 nights and could have easily stayed for a lot longer. The owner's are so accommodating and really go the extra mile to make sure all their guests have everything they need and more. I particularly loved the coffee machine available in each room, was a nice surprise to the standard kettle usually found in hotel rooms. The views are stunning and I loved watching the lambs in the field right at the front of the building. Highly recommended & will definitely be back

An absolutely lovely experience! Me and my best friend thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our sleep was great, our experience with the owner was lovely, the views were beautiful. The shower/toilet was cosy but clean with everything we needed. No breakfast option in the house but a fantastic place next door (Bubbleton) which was at good value and it was tasty, with a farm shop too. Thank you so much! P.s. we also saw tens of meteorites!!!! Amazing!

Lovely, helpful and welcoming family! We arrived slightly earlier than anticipated and had no issues with check in. Our double room with the garden view was lovely. Super clean and we had a great nights sleep. The only thing I’d add to the room would be a mini fridge :) There is a farm shop that offers delicious breakfast next door - would recommend staying here!

We stayed 3 nights in The Chalet, which is located at the back of the Country House. The owners, Joe and Cassie were very welcoming and friendly. The Chalet had everything we needed and was very clean in arrival. An idilic location, with easy access to many wonderful beaches and villages. The Chalet was stunning and had its own private area which included garden and decking area. Would definitely recommend this!!
