Lydstep Beach Village

We booked the Lodge 490 Terraces on the recommendation of a friend. The park is situated right on the beach at Lydstep, around 3 miles from Tenby. The park was well sited, clean and very peaceful. It has the usual Haven facilities including a Manor house as the restaurant. The menu was varied and reasonably priced but had the added bonus of a fish and chip van near the restaurant and a Papa John's pizza restaurant on the top edge of the park. The views from the Lodge were stunning, with a view of Caldey Island in the bay. We took the cliff top walk to Tenby and were rewarded with a fantastic view of Tenbys beaches and gun fort. We wanted for nothing in the Lodge, 3 double bedrooms, 1 with king size bed and en suite. The decking had ample room with plenty of seating and a large table. There was a small sheltered area aside the Lodge to have a barbecue. The two large patio doors gave a 180 degree view of the bay. Would we book again? Definitely.

We've just returned from a very relaxing break at Lydstep Beach. We stayed in a 3 bedroomed silver caravan. Our party consisted of 3 adults and a dog. Our caravan was absolutely spotless. The furnishings and decor were very modern. The beds were made up with clean, fresh bed linen. You do have to bring your own bath/beach towels. Also your own basics like washing up liquid, toilet roll etc... The kitchen had ample crockery and cooking utensils, cutlery etc... There was an oven, gas hob, dish washer and microwave. Flat screen TV in the main bedroom and living room. The balcony was secure so our dog could run around on the decking safely. The caravan park overlooks Lydstep Beach. With gorgeous views over the bay. The grounds were immaculate. There's a well stocked shop and launderette. Both open from 9am to 5pm. There's a clubhouse, bar, restaurant, 2p machines, swimming pool. In the evening there's music and bingo. All the staff we encountered were really helpful and friendly. You do need a car to get around. Tenby is a 10 minute drive from Lydstep. We would definitely return here. We were looking for a relaxing break and we certainly got it.

Had an absolute amazing holiday. The site is lovely, quiet and safe. The beach is gorgeous and very private which was a lovely surprise & very clean. Caravan was lovely we stayed in a Silver (only a minor comment, there was alot of dust round the wardrobes and the shelving in the bedrooms). Overall its a great site & we will definitely be back next year. 🩵

Caravan was not clean. Crumbs all over the place, ants around the kitchen, cereal in the sofa, piles of weeks old dust in the bedrooms. But we had a lovely time. Don't bother buying entertainment passes because they do t ask to see them for the entertainment, so we paid £120 to swim twice which is nuts. The bay is incredible, the park is quiet. The park is a 10 minute distraction, our kids weren't impressed. And good luck finding the papa John's, I walked around for 2 hours trying to find it and even directions from bar staff got me nowhere. I ended up driving there, it was 2 mins away! Although it was understaffed and took 90 minutes to get an order. Despite ALL this, we had a lovely week. Tenby was beautiful, and the beach is lovely with SO many different types of stones! This seems like a negative review, oh and our kettle didn't work, but we honestly would go back. Even though we got the ONLY caravan with zero outdoor decking. And it was 38⁰ in the caravan.
