You arrive at The Stable to find everything on one level: open-plan living space with kitchen, dining and sitting areas, a double bedroom, and a bathroom fitted with a roll-top bath and shower. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob and microwave for proper cooking. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are provided; logs for the firepit come with the booking.
Outside, a patio with garden furniture adjoins the house. Beyond that, lawned grounds stretch away with a sitting area and firepit, plus space to settle in. The property sits on the edge of farmland, and you have use of woodland and fields to wander. A small dog is welcome. There is parking for two cars on site.
This converted stables lies in Test Valley, near enough to the New Forest National Park to make it a base for exploring that landscape. No smoking indoors; check-in is after 15:00 and checkout before 10:00.
