Staddlestone Barn is a compact conversion of 23 square metres, detached and set on Gambledown Farm—a regenerative mixed farm that has operated for over fifty years. You get the whole place to yourself, with one bedroom containing a super king bed, two bathrooms each with a cubicle shower and heated towel rail, and an open-plan kitchen fitted with an induction hob, fridge, toaster and kettle. Everything is on the ground floor.
The barn has electric central heating, superfast WiFi, bed linen and towels provided. Inside there's a TV with Freeview and Freesat, plus two easy chairs for relaxing. Outside, a seating area overlooks the countryside. The property sits on a working farm accessed via a rough track, and parking for two cars is on site. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
Gambledown Farm runs a shop selling home-grown produce—eggs, bacon, sausages, beef steaks and seasonal items you can cook in the kitchen or on a BBQ. Breakfast hampers and BBQ boxes are available on request. The farm also keeps pedigree Beef Shorthorn cattle, sheep, pigs, chickens and has areas of ancient woodland. No smoking inside the barn.
