Vikings Sea View

Photo: Google Maps

Broadstairs has long stretches of accessible beaches within easy reach of Vikings Sea View. Viking Bay, the nearest, has golden sand, colourful huts and a gentle slope into the water, patrolled by lifeguards. Joss Bay draws surfers; Stone Bay suits families who want to explore rockpools. The clifftop walks between them are worth doing for their own sake. Back in town, independent shops, restaurants and cafés line the streets, and Dickens House Museum is a short drive away.

The apartment spreads across two floors. Downstairs holds a combined living and dining room with a smart TV, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking (gas hob and oven, dishwasher, microwave), and a bedroom with a kingsize bed and ensuite shower. Upstairs is a games room, a second bedroom with a single bed and shower room, and a third bedroom with a zip-and-link bed that can be split into twins on request. The second ensuite is a toilet only. Parking for two cars is on site, and there is a garden area with seating and a barbecue. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. No smoking throughout.

The property sleeps five and suits families or groups wanting a complete base rather than a room in someone else's house. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.

I've never really heard about Broadstairs because people would usually go to Margate or elsewhere, but what a gem it was! Didn't know there was an event when we went there (July 29), so I was able to see fireworks and carnival. Although a lot of people, the beach was still spacious enough for everyone. I HAVE FALLEN IN LOVE WITH BROADSTAIRS. Good thing we found an accomodation at the beach front

Lovely and very quaint seaside proper old school loads of cracking lite pubs and eateries. The beach is a pleasure also can get busy at weekends but plenty of room. You will not be stuck for a place to eat or drink but warch the seagulls they are a menace.

Beautiful coastal village with a nice sandy bay to relax and enjoy the day. The beach has a shower and toilets. Very close to the beach there is a great ice cream parlour called Morellis where I had a lovely ice cream. People were very friendly. I had a great day (I went by train from London, very easy journey albeit long, so I cannot comment about the parking).

Loved it stay from 9.30am to 2.30 , rented loungers and parasol from the beachut #1, high tide beach really lovely and good swimming. Low tide bit of a trek to water through scaling sand . Toilets pretty awful. Lots of teenager groups. Security on the steps down to beach stopping any alchol to be carried to beach . All in all good beach, parking nearby and plenty of restaurants locally.
