What visitors say
Had a lovely visit to Vue Newbury. We got the £5 kids' snack boxes, which were great value, and the temperature in the cinema was perfect throughout the film. My only real criticism is the seating. The VIP seats are definitely more comfortable than the standard ones, but I really wish the cinema would upgrade to recliner seats. We often travel to Basingstoke instead because the recliners make such a difference to the overall experience. If Vue Newbury were to install recliner seating, we'd probably visit much more often. That said, we still had a great time and would happily return.

Great cinema, been coming here since 2012, great value for money especially on Mondays. Wide selection of films, definitely worth a stop if you are around. Expensive snacks though!

Went to see ‘A Quiet Place: Day 1’ which is the prequel to the subsequent ‘A Quiet Place’ movies. It was a perfectly watchable movie. Vue Cinema Newbury historically seems to get mixed reviews in terms of customer service. Attitude and training comes from the top so the buck stops with the local supervisor. My experience today was great!

Really enjoyed the film and glad we still have a cinema in Newbury. Only downside was screen 5 having glitchy adverts and a staff member flashing lights at us all seconds after the credits started to say the lights weren’t working…they turned on seconds later 😅 Would’ve been nice to relax and take in seeing a really awesome film. Hopefully this doesn’t happen all the time!
