Hillside Caravan Park spreads across nine landscaped acres just outside Knayton, a few miles north of Thirsk and within easy reach of both the North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales. With around fifty hardstanding electric pitches for touring caravans and motorhomes, plus a clutch of Mega Pods and Deluxe Mega Pods for glampers, it's built a solid reputation locally for tidy facilities and attentive upkeep—though a handful of visitors note that peak-season availability can be tight and advance booking is wise.

Five stars all the way . Wonderful site in a fantastic location. Clean well maintained modern facilities , large fully serviced pitiches and beautiful views in every direction. My Wife has been cycling on rural quiet roads locally. A short distance to Thirsk which has supermarkets & cafes located a short distance from the A19 motorway. Easy to recommend we'll certainly return.

We had a caravan for a number of years when our were young. Hillside was our ‘go to’ site, we utilised the store and pitch service and loved every visit. Kids got older, caravan got sold. Eight years on and we have just bought ourselves a new ’couples van’ for ourselves and the two doggos. Hillside was our first trip and it was as lovely as we remembered. Great pitches, nice and peaceful, wonderful countryside, pretty local towns, fantastic local pub… what more can you ask for! We’ll be back! 🙂

we had an absolute fantastic stay the site is absolutely gorgeous first time glamping and won’t be the last the pods were amazing comfortable everything you need is in them my boys loved it can’t wait to return my only regret is tht we wish we had booked to stay 2 nights thanks very much for a lovely stay well done to use all perfect park 👌🏻
