About Holly Tree Caravan Park and Pub

Tucked along the River Steeping in rural Lincolnshire, this touring park pairs peaceful waterside pitches with a characterful 16th-century pub – open weekend evenings from March to November, complete with open fire and outdoor seating (though no food is served). The real draw for many is the adults-only fishing lake, well stocked with tench, bream and carp, while the river itself welcomes canoes and paddleboards. Keep your eyes peeled for deer, owls and kingfishers around the water's edge.

Skegness sits just 10 minutes away for classic seaside days out, while the Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape beckons a quarter-hour's drive inland, offering walkers and cyclists plenty of scope for exploring. Electric hardstanding pitches suit motorhomes, with showers, toilets and washing-up facilities on site. Some guests note the facilities can feel a little dated in places, but the riverside setting and proximity to coast and countryside more than compensate.

What visitors say

Julie Wild

This site is amazing. We didn't go for the fishing but got a pitch for our motorhome at the side of the lake. We spent our evenings watching ducklings, fish and alsorts of wild life. It was so peaceful. Even if you are not into fishing it is lovely. Dan is great and really helpful. I would recommend to motor homers. It is with regret we have to go home. Thank you Dan for a brilliant, relaxing and peaceful weekend. We will be back. Xx Julie and Paul

We enquired about a touring caravan they had for sale, arranged a viewing for 2 days later and thought all was good. Unfortunately the night before Dan told us he had decided to sell it before our agreed viewing, if he’d said that was his terms we would have visited earlier. The whole experience left a bad taste and maybe we were lucky if that is how they choose to do business. My word is my bond, but apparently not everyone thinks that way ! ! !
