What visitors say
Second time back to Grooby's Pit and it won't be our last. Great venue run by great people who can't do enough for you. Being an adults only site, it's peaceful and relaxing and we were made to feel extremely welcome by the seasonal pitch and holiday campers on site. The setting is very well maintained, the washroom facilities are immaculate and the friendly chickens often pop by to say hello. Fishing was great and the Kingfishers delivered again, showing off their diving skills on the lake. Thanks for a great weekend and we'll see you again soon!!

Fabulous little site. Everyone so friendly and helpful. We stayed on the Nursery Lake and considering the weather ( cold and windy) I caught plenty of fish mainly Carp and some lovely Rudd on the drop. There is a train to Skegness but a very limited service so check first. Toilets and showers very clean, electric is on a meter but we only used £5 over 4 days as we are a small van and mainly use gas. Looking forward to our return in September 😊

A very quiet, peaceful small caravan site, with fishing lakes, great helpful staff, lovely hot showers and location is easy to find. If you're lucky fresh eggs. Highly recommended.

Lovely gem of a site in a great location for touring the area by car or bike. Debbie made us very welcome, indeed so did her husband and the owners. Our pitch was sheltered and overlooked the main lake. The showers were excellent. Overall, we had a stress free stay at this quiet site.
