Curlew Cottage

Skegness draws visitors to its beaches and nature reserves, but Curlew Cottage sits back from the seafront bustle, offering instead a country setting with views across open fields. The cottage is a detached property on its own grounds, with room to breathe and space to park two cars on site.

Inside, everything is on the ground floor: a living room and kitchen combine with a dining room that opens to the garden, two bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with bunk beds), and a shower room. The kitchen has a full range of appliances including a dishwasher and washing machine. An open fire is ready for use, and heating throughout the property is electric. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, along with fuel for the fire. The front and back gardens are both fenced and lawned, with a sitting area, barbecue and bike store; there is a pond in the garden. A travel cot and highchair are available on request.

The cottage suits families or groups of four wanting a quiet base with easy access to the coast—Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve and sandy beaches are within reach—or those more interested in exploring inland, where the Lincolnshire Wolds and antique-filled Horncastle are nearby. Smoking is not permitted.
