About Forss House Hotel
Forss House Hotel suits travellers heading to the far north of Scotland who want somewhere calm to return to after a day outdoors, rather than a city-style hotel in the middle of things. With Thurso close by and coastal walks and historic sites within reach, it works well for anyone touring the Highlands, fishing the local rivers, or simply breaking a longer journey north.
The hotel has 14 rooms, including family options, all with en-suite bathrooms, and there's a garden and picnic area for taking things slowly between excursions. A restaurant and bar cover meals on site, breakfast is included, and packed lunches can be arranged for a day of walking or fishing. Guests can also make use of the spa and sauna, free WiFi, and meeting rooms if travelling for business, while free on-site parking and luggage storage make arrival and departure straightforward.
Outside, the grounds offer garden views and outdoor seating, and fishing and walking are both available nearby, making this a practical base for exploring the surrounding countryside and coastline. Pets are welcome, which suits those travelling with dogs on longer Highland trips.
