We stayed overnight, on a grassed electric pitch. Pitch was good, no issues. Welfare facilities was very clean and accessible. The pub is currently under refurbishment - this was clearly communicated. The pods look great! A lot of work has been done here, well done to the owners, would definitely stay again.

A handy stop about 30 minutes from Dover, with a few quirks. The pub was temporarily closed on arrival — and we're asked to phone the number on the banner but didn’t get a reply until a few hours later, by which point we’d already set up and carried on. The ground isn’t very level (our ramps struggled), but the toilets were clean and heated, and the showers looked well kept. There’s some road noise, though it didn’t bother us. £35 feels a bit steep, but it is the South East — so not entirely unexpected. A convenient, decent stopover overall.

We booked a campervan pitch at this particular pub because of its proximity to the port, and so that we could park up and enjoy a meal and a few drinks in the pub. However, when we arrived we found that the pub is closed for business! The owner was nowhere to be seen and so i emailed to express disappointment that there had been no prior notification of the closure, and to ask for a refund as we chose to relocate to an alternative more suitable site. The owner's response was bizarre to say the least - everyone's fault but his own, including the local community, Keir Starmer and ours for not providing a correct phone number (not true). Anyway, he declined a refund and so all we can say is don't book here if a pre ferry meal/drink is your thing.

Good place for a stop on the way to the ferry. Never saw the owner and would have been excellent if the pub was open but it was midweek in December and we had bought our own food as the owner had forewarned us of this. Would use again.
