A Bit on the Side is a single-storey annexe set apart from the owners' home, giving you complete privacy in the Dover countryside. The interior combines living, dining and kitchen in one open space on the ground floor, with a king bedroom and bathroom upstairs, plus an extra shower room downstairs. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave and air fryer for proper cooking; essentials like heating, electricity, linen and towels are all included, along with wi-fi. A small lawned garden with patio and furniture sits outside, and there is parking for two cars on site.

Canterbury lies 25 minutes away by car, with its cathedral, independent shops and restaurants. Deal and Walmer castles are within reach for a coastal day out, and the White Cliffs at Dover are roughly 20 minutes' drive. A pub stands one mile away, and The Griffin's Head at Chillenden offers food a short walk further. The Haven Spa in the village provides treatments if booked in advance.
