The place is brilliant. We stayed in Honeybag which is one of the smaller cottage’s. Was the two of us and a 6 month old. The place was perfect for us. Nice and cosy. The bed was actually probably one of the most comfortable beds we’ve had when staying away. The kitchen is well equipped and the oven worked really well. Plenty of parking at the cottage’s. The onsite pool is fantastic and the system Geoff has to book it per cottage works really well. So you get private use of it while staying. The playbarn is a lovely feature and the outdoor play area as well. The place is so peaceful and quiet. Can travel easily into Torquay and the surrounding areas. Location is brilliant.

Fantastic stay in Hameldown cottage at Long Barn Holiday Cottages in North Whilborough, Newton Abbot, Devon. Beautiful cottage, so quiet, generally well equipped (an air fryer would be a nice addition), very clean and comfortable. It is a walk or a drive to anything though, local shops, pubs, restaurants etc. but that said nothing seemed to be too far away when driving!

Come here every year, just love it. this place is great. It has it's own swimming pool, well kept to. Play barn for the kid in door, out door play area. What more could you ask for. Accommodation is really nice and cosy. The location of long barn is perfect, its roughly 10 -20 mins away from most places that you'd need to go to. Thanks for great holidays and memories.
