Brixham remains one of the region's most active fishing harbours, with working boats still unloading their catch daily. The town centre, a short walk away, has independent shops, fish and chip cafés, and restaurants alongside a regular bus service to Paignton, Goodrington and Torquay. Steam trains run inland to Buckfastleigh; Greenway, Agatha Christie's former home, is nearby; Paignton Zoo and Goodrington Water Park appeal to families with children.
Apple Barn Cottage has two bedrooms and one bathroom across two levels. Downstairs holds a living room with patio doors onto an enclosed garden, a galley kitchen equipped for cooking, and a bedroom with twin single beds plus a separate toilet. Upstairs, a second bedroom has a kingsize bed and an en-suite with walk-in shower. The property is yours alone, with private parking and Wi-Fi throughout. Bed linen and towels come as standard; one dog stays free of charge. A heated towel rail and gas central heating keep things comfortable.
The cottage occupies a quiet setting off Knick Knack Lane yet remains walkable to the harbour and town activities. The south-facing patio and grassed area provide outdoor space for sitting out. Smoking is not permitted inside.

Had a lovely time at this cottage. We stay in about 4 cottages a year and apple barn is one of the nicest. The kitchen is very well equipped and the double bed is really comfortable. The outside space is perfect and you are not overlooked. The welcome cream tea was lovely. Brixham is also lovely. Lots of things to do. We only used the car once. I've seen some reviews saying that the drive is dangerous and parking difficult. It really isn't. We drove in and reversed out with absolutely no problem at all and our car isn't small. It's quite hilly walking back from the centre but we knew that before we booked. Plus it helped to walk off all the cream teas 😋 I would really recommend apple barn cottage. Thank you. Jennifer bate

We stayed there in August 2023 and it was a FANTASTIC holiday home. Really well maintained and kept clean. Owners are the nicest and kindest people you could ever have, we received a lovely welcome of "cream teas and milk in the fridge". Cannot recommend them enough!
