Atherfield Apartments - Roof Tops is a one-bedroom duplex arranged across two storeys in Roundham, Paignton. You arrive into a hallway with storage, then climb to the upper floor where the main living space opens out beneath the eaves. It's a compact layout that works well for two people, with a double bedroom, bathroom on the ground floor, and the living area upstairs where natural light comes through.
The kitchen is equipped for self-catering: electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher mean you can cook properly or keep things simple. Upstairs there's comfortable seating, a dining area and views over the back garden. Bed linen, towels, heating and electricity are all included, along with Wi-Fi. There's parking for one car on site. The apartment is non-smoking.
Paignton's seafront, pier and beach are a five-minute walk away. The town centre, harbour and local cafés are within easy reach. Goodrington leisure facilities and Tor Bay are nearby for those wanting more active seaside time.

What guests say
Super holiday apartments ranging from couples only to families. There are several different types of apartments that we found through the Air B and B site. Our apartment 8 (Roof Tops) was quirky, set on two floors and in the roof space with super views. A new bathroom with small bath and super shower over. Very peaceful with sounds of the seagulls and tooting of the steam train on occasions. The bustling harbour and shops is only a short walk down the road and further along is Paignton beach and attractions. A further and prettier walk along the coastal path and gardens takes you to Goodrington beach. Our host was a super person to talk to and extremely knowledgeable about many subjects. The car park is smallish and you need to be mindful with the host about the best position for your apartment and idealy let her know your car size so that she can greet and guide you upon arrival.
