Herons Haven

Herons Haven works well for a couple after a straightforward seaside base. The entire ground-floor apartment is yours alone, with an open-plan living space that looks directly onto the harbour. A king bed, shower room with heated towel rail, and a kitchen fitted with an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge mean you can settle in comfortably without fuss. Electricity, bed linen, towels and WiFi are included; there is private parking for one car on site.
The location matters here. Paignton Harbour itself is still a working fishing area, ringed with cafés and fish and chop shops, and the apartment sits right on the water with a gated patio facing the boats. A short walk reaches Roundham Head, where clifftop paths open up views across to Brixham and Torquay, and the coastal footpath system connects onwards through Rock Walk—a cliffside stretch planted with semi-tropical species and lit at night—towards the wider South West Coast Path. Goodrington Beach lies a mile away, with its own swimming and water sports. Paignton itself draws families in the school holidays, but the apartment's setting on the working harbour gives it a quieter character than the main seafront attractions.
