George’s Cottage

The coastal path from Bucks Mills reaches Clovelly in one direction and Westward Ho! in the other, making this Grade II listed cottage a practical base for exploring the North Devon shoreline on foot. Bideford, Appledore and the Tarka Trail are all within easy reach by car, as are beaches for swimming, fishing, golf and riding. A shop lies a mile away and a pub two and a half miles distant.

George's Cottage has two bedrooms—one double, one with two singles—and a bathroom on the first floor. Downstairs, an open-plan living space combines a sitting area with woodburner, dining space and kitchen; the kitchen is equipped for everyday cooking. A washing machine and tumble dryer sit in an external utility room. The quarter-acre garden is enclosed, with patio and furniture; there is bike storage and parking for two cars on site. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included. The property has open stairs and drops in the garden, with a small stream five yards away. One well-behaved pet stays free.
