Hartland Holiday Barns - Stable is a one-bedroom conversion in Woolsery, positioned between the coastal villages of Hartland and Clovelly and within reach of Bude's sandy beaches. The Stable sits on 2½ acres of natural grounds where you can wander or picnic, with access to a shared meadow. A small dog stays free. Everything is on the ground floor: an open-plan living space with smart TV and Bluetooth speaker, a kitchen fitted with electric oven and hob, a double bedroom, and an ensuite shower room. The sitting-out area has garden furniture, and a separate BBQ space is available to guests.
An air source heat pump provides heating; electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered. The grounds support wildlife with owl and bat boxes, and the adjacent smallholding includes an organic vegetable plot. Guests without children or babies can use the bike store and private parking for one car. The property is suited to those wanting a rural base for walking holidays or coastal exploration, with the essentials provided to self-cater and settle in for a week or weekend away.

Stayed in Stable, very clean, comfortable , everything you need. Lovely owners, made you feel welcome. Lovely homemade jam, lemon drizzle cake and their own hen eggs were a lovely welcome gift.

If you are looking for peace and quiet or a secluded retreat, this will tick your boxes. With the owners' house, there are 3 small accommodations built into a converted stable block. There is under floor heating, great views and quiet surroundings. Be aware if you own a low car, the drive to the Barns is very rural - on a single track road and will scrape if you are in a low car or are not careful in a regular height vehicle. Other than that the place is gorgeous, totally quiet at night, no road noise at all and great night skies with very little light pollution. We stayed for 6 nights and there is plenty to do around, local town is 2 miles away and has a great pub restaurant with an equally great takeaway attached. The accommodation really is finished to a very high standard, and the owners are lovely, you can tell a lot of care has been put into the place. So we'd recommend without a doubt, just be prepared for how rural it is, and enjoy!
