Heath Farm – Old Mill is a converted farm building with character retained from its working past. Set on a 40-acre property in Torridge, the building sits within its own large enclosed garden, with a patio and barbecue for outdoor entertaining. The grounds are shared with other on-site properties and include pasture and woodland; a public footpath runs through them, and there are three coarse fishing lakes if you bring your own rods.
Inside, there are three bedrooms sleeping seven: a kingsize with its own ensuite on the ground floor, a double, and a third with zip-and-link singles plus a single bed. Two bathrooms serve the property. The ground floor also has a living and dining area with a woodburner (logs included), and a kitchen equipped for self-catering with electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are included; the property has oil central heating and parking for three cars on site.
One dog is welcome and stays free. The building is no-smoking. Bradworthy village, with shops and a 14th-century pub, is 2 miles away. The coast at Hartland and Clovelly is within reach for a day out, as is Bude with its beaches.
