The North Devon coast is within easy reach—four miles away are dog-friendly beaches, the coastal path, coves and sand suitable for surfing. Inland, the 200-acre dairy farm itself offers walking (the owner will point out where you can roam safely). Orchard Cottage sits on this working farm alongside a sister property, with a lawned garden and space to park three cars.
The cottage has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Downstairs is an open-plan living and dining area with a woodburner, Freeview television and Blu-ray player; the kitchen is fitted with an electric cooker, microwave and washing machine. One bedroom upstairs has a king bed with an ensuite shower; the other has zip-and-link beds that can be configured as a double or twin. Wood for the burner, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. The heating is oil-fired with underfloor warming on the ground floor. A travel cot and highchair are available if you need them.
The property is non-smoking and accommodates one pet. You arrive after 3pm and depart by 9am.

Someone turned the world off when you stay here. Peace and quiet surrounded by beautiful countryside and the most friendliest of hosts. It's on a working farm so don't start whingeing because the cows woke you up and it smells, just be thankful that there are still places like this. Get greeted by the farm dogs, unpack into well stocked, comfortable cottage and settle in by the log burner on comfy leather setee, glass of vino and unwind. We stayed in most days, not because of the weather, but to soak up the peace and quiet and unwind, magic. One of the best cottages we have stayed in👍👍👍

We stayed for a wonderful week in Gardeners cottage and can't wait to come back. Greeted with fresh farm milk and homemade cookies and really beautiful, comfortable accommodation. The wood burner was brilliant (logs provided) and kept us warm and cosy in the cold February evenings and the cottage with central heating was again very comfortable and furnished with everything you could need for a relaxing holiday. Orchard Farm is a perfect, peaceful place to explore North Devon/Cornwall or relax in beautiful peaceful surroundings. Great pub with good food in nearby Monkleigh and the Farm owners Les and Sue are wonderful hosts and there if you need anything. We will miss Max the dog and the farm cats who are very friendly and want lots of cuddles. Thank you for such a lovely break. Its very much appreciated

Fantastic place to stay. Clean rooms and friendly owners. Had a power cut due to the storm, but got supplied with plenty of candles and wood for the fire. Also was offered alternative accommodation if the poer cut continued but we enjoyed the atmosphere. Power came back after 24hours which was good, but we were told we could have had a refund if power cut did continue. Very reasonable
