The lodge sits within Springfield Meadows, a working fishing estate spread across 14 acres near Beaworthy. Bluebell Lodge itself is a detached cottage sleeping four, with everything on the ground floor: two bedrooms (one double, one with two singles), a shower room, and an open-plan living space that combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer; the living area has Freeview TV. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included, as is a welcome pack when you arrive.
The cottage opens directly onto 14 acres of shared grounds where a lake lies just 10 yards away, stocked for fishing. You get your own small enclosed garden with undercover decking for outdoor time. Parking for two cars is on site. An outbuilding houses a shared washing machine, tumble dryer and dog washing facility—one dog stays free. The property has three steps to the entrance (with ramp access) and three further steps in the garden. Nearby, Therapy Tails offers activities; the village of Halwill Junction has a shop, fish and chip restaurant, pub and post office within reach. No smoking inside.

Excellent complex just came back from 3 weeks stay in Fern Lodge, the lodges are first class and the fishing is brilliant, caught fish every day. Keven and Emma the owners and all the staff are so helpful and friendly and there is two of the nicest cats you could ever meet

Great fully equipped lodge in beautiful surroundings. Plenty of fish in the lakes although sorting out the better ones can be difficult. Caught a couple of 20lb ers on floating crust in the carp lake . Surprised that owner/ manager didn’t make contact during the week as we didn’t have to check-in on arrival .

We've just spent a smashing 4 nights in this beautiful place. The lakes are lovely and the fishing is brilliant. There's some proper roach and bream, also tench and crusians, and some average carp. The lodges are clean and spacious, well the one we had was. There is plenty of pubs and eateries near by, the junction inn , Karen's takeaway, bickford arms . It's so nice at night, no light pollution and it's quite. And if you're lucky you'll see a beaver as well. It's a well deserved 5 stars from us , as many people are regular visitors which says a lot and we're going to be booking again soon for our third time.

Recently enjoyed a short break at Springfield Meadows with our 2 dogs. What can I say but WOW, the cabins are beautiful, modern, spacious, clean and have everything you could need, it really is a home from home vacation. Just a short walk down to the 3 lakes for fishing or simply enjoying the wildlife. Enjoy the peacefulness on this lovely well maintained site, with a few additions to enjoy in the form of ponies, pigs and chickens. Hubby caught a few stockies and is looking forward to trying for the larger specimens on our next visit. Staff are super friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. Thank you for making our mini break AMAZING 🤩
