The Square

Hartland village sits on the North Devon Heritage Coast, a landscape of dramatic cliffs and working farmland that draws walkers and birdwatchers throughout the year. The Square occupies a corner of the village square itself—the building was once the village drapery shop—with the sea just two miles away at Hartland Quay and some of the region's best-known beaches within easy reach.

The house is arranged over two floors with three bedrooms and one bathroom. Downstairs are a living room with a wood-burning stove, a separate dining room, a kitchen with a gas hob and full appliances, a sun room overlooking the garden, and a third bedroom with two single beds. Upstairs hold a king-size bedroom and a double, both with televisions. The enclosed patio on the first level of the sloping garden provides a sheltered outdoor space; the garden itself extends across three levels. Essentials including heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered, along with initial logs for the stove and parking nearby in the public car park.

The village centre is within walking distance, with three pubs, independent shops, galleries and a café all close by. Dogs are welcome and the area is particularly dog-friendly, with several beaches that allow them. The property does not permit smoking.
