It was a tyre-tasting burger. Meat was too chewy and cooked. And Nobody came to my table and asked whether food is okay. It was first experience for me having this tyre-tasting burger in my life. Thank you so much.

I have driven past many times and I have always wanted to try it. I went them for Fathers day and I was glad I did. Food was unbelievable. Good selection and on Sunday they have a roast. I got the vegetarian Sunday roast to try something different and it was amazing. Only downside was I needed to ask for more gravy. The pot of gravy should have been bigger however very small detail. A good selection of desserts as well. It is pricey but it somewhere to go for a celebration. Good family atmosphere with room inside and out. Highly recommend!

Had a fantastic stay at The Alexander Pope Hotel and couldn’t recommend it more highly. The hotel itself is charming and comfortable, with well-kept rooms that strike a great balance between modern convenience and classic character. Waking up so close to the Thames adds something really special to the whole experience. The food was a real highlight—fresh, flavourful, and clearly made with care. Whether it was a relaxed dinner or a hearty breakfast, everything we tried was spot on. What truly made the stay stand out, though, was the team. Every member of staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, going out of their way to make sure everything was perfect without ever feeling overbearing. A lovely place to stay, eat, and unwind—already looking forward to coming back.
