What visitors say
It is a great place to have picnic. The weather was beautiful so was the destination. Car park was cheap £4 for whole day. The ruins are really picturesque, very instagramable. The fountain show was great. At first I thought its not worth the price but than it goes to charity anyways. The bathrooms were clean which is very good. You only have to buy the ticket if you want to explore the ruins. Lakeside and woodland walk is free.

Long walk from carpark to the hall. Lovely paths through the woods and gardens and alongside the lake. Beautiful ruins of a impressive stately home. Well laid out gardens at the rear with a feature fountain of Poseiden which fires a column of water 150 feet into the air twice a day.

Really enjoyed our visit , nice welcome from the staff. Although the Hove is only the former shell you get a great walking around imagining the rooms and what it was like. The grounds are extremely well kept, some lovely walks around the grounds. The main fountain is worth a watch on the hour. There is a cafe separate along with the adjacent church. Both are well worth a visit, the church in interior is magnificent. Cafe menu is very good. Cafe has plenty indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommend.

An enjoyable walk up to the Court and Gardens which may be an issue if mobility is an issue. But wow what an amazing ruin. Such a sight to see. You could really imagine with the help of the info boards what it would have been like back in 1920. You find yourself wishing it could be restored back to those days. The gardens with their huge fountains were lovely too. The main fountain goes off on the hour every hour and was lovely to sit and watch. Next to the gardens is the parish church and that was an even bigger wow. Quite simply beautiful. Indepently a short walk from the church you will find the Secret Garden tea rooms. A great place to sit and enjoy some lunch. If you are in the area my advice would be to go and visit Witley you won't be disappointed
