Stayed 3 nights for business. It has the usual gym, pool, and sports bar you expect from the chain. The biggest perks here are the massive car park (much easier to get a space than other locations) and the reliable EV chargers, which were always available. It's incredibly convenient right off the M6. The room was standard, but the cleanliness of the toilet wasn’t great and there was a bad smell in the bathroom. Good for a convenient work stopover, but housekeeping needs a bit of attention.

Do not book here if you want any comfort as there is no air-conditioning and the rooms are excessively hot (it was during a week of 30c). We got fans from reception which were dirty and dusty and did little to cool the room down. None of our party managed to sleep, it’s a pity as the hotel itself is nice and has a Starbucks onsite.

Stayed here a few times. Recently refurbished rooms, which look and feel great. Location is good, just off J10, but, can get very very busy, goes without saying. Always made to feel welcome by the staff, but, particularly, the young gent, with tattoos and dark hair and a beard, on reception is a real assett to this hotel. (So sorry forgot his name). Goes out of his way to answer any questions, and always excellent customer service, with a smile. Cannot comment on the gym, as haven't used it here. The Starbucks is great within the hotel also. Lovely staff, great selection of hot/cold food, drinks etc, what one would expect. This is one of my favourite Village Hotel's.

Initially joined for the gym facilities specifically for swimming the locker rooms are clean and secure and so far I’ve found the facilities to be excellent. I was very pleased with the sales staff there was no hard sell. I’ve found the staff to be helpful polite and readily put you at ease. Only one breakdown of the facilities and that was remedied quickly and efficiently (nothing beats a bracing swim ) The front of house staff at reception have been polite and courteous and happily answer any parking concerns the car park always has plenty of space and 4 free hours is a massive bonus especially if you are meeting friends for a drink John on the gym desk has been extremely helpful (I forgot my locker fob and staff were happy to lend me one ) I shall be definitely continuing my membership
