About Premier Inn Walsall Town Centre
Right along the canal waterfront in Walsall town centre, Premier Inn Walsall Town Centre puts guests within easy reach of the water, the shops and the train station without needing to drive in. It's a modern six-floor hotel with 100 rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and drinks available in-room, and lift access to every floor.
Rooms are generally spacious with comfortable beds, though a few have been found a little worn round the edges, so it's worth not expecting everything to be pristine. Breakfast is served on site with a good selection to choose from, and there's a restaurant and bar for evening meals and drinks. Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, and prices are considered reasonable for what's on offer.
Parking is available nearby for a fee rather than on site. Beyond the hotel doors there's plenty to explore along the waterfront and into town, with pubs, restaurants and other eateries within walking distance, making it a practical base for both business trips and short breaks in Walsall.
What guests say
Good clean place to sleep. But my nice view was covered by a curtain inside the window which cannot open. TVs need an upgrade. Also rip off car park at the hotel, just park further down for half price.

After checking in we found that our room had not been cleaned properly. Ended up taking a hour and half to get another room which was a lot better but the bath had not been cleaned properly. We spent as little as possible in this hotel and wouldn’t return again. We spend a lot of time in premier inns but this was not upto there usual standards. There hotel was very old and tired and nobody seemed to care about the hotel especially the cleaning staff. Looks like it is an ongoing problem with the cleanliness.

This was my very first time staying at this hotel which is located right in the town centre of Walsall. This hotel is actually really nice with spacious rooms and a very comfortable double bed as standard. I believe each room comes with an en-suite bathroom with shower and bath and toilet and sink like my room did. The breakfast (which i paid extra for) was really nice as well at £10.99. Highly recommended hotel.

Nice clean rooms, at reasonable price. Staff are friendly and the restaurant attached is reasonably priced pub food with carvery on Sundays. Breakfast is an extra cost and can be continental or full buffet for £10.99.
