Flying Trapeze Above & Beyond Circus

I traveled all the way from Germany especially for this intensive weekend. I am a Pole Dance instructor, but during this weekend our group also included participants who were trying trapeze for the first time or had little to no experience in aerial arts. We created a wonderful sense of community, and everyone was genuinely happy for each other’s progress. All skill levels were taken into consideration during the training, allowing everyone to achieve their own personal learning goals and celebrate individual successes. After an introduction and getting-to-know-each-other session, we started with a warmup. After the lunch break, the instructors made sure that everyone’s bodies were properly warmed up again before continuing. The warmup routines were continuously adapted and changed, so they always felt fresh and engaging. It was a truly inspiring experience with a supportive atmosphere, where everyone could learn, grow, and enjoy the journey together. We learned the tricks step by step, and once we had mastered them, everyone had the opportunity to be caught by the catcher. The feeling of being caught is amazing! In addition, we also had the opportunity to learn the disciplines of cloud swing and swinging trapeze, which added even more variety and excitement to the training. A group of us from the aerial studio I train at had a private flying trapeze workshop with Above and Beyond. The site is straightforward to find and there is free parking. The instructors were friendly and encouraging. I felt very safe under their guidance and they really helped to manage my nerves. The workshop was really fun and everyone managed a new skill.

An absolutely amazing group of professional people who helped me achieve a lifelong dream of flying on a trapeze at the age of 55. They all made me feel safe and gave detailed instruction, showed incredible patience and compassion through the whole experience. A truly amazing experience for which I am forever grateful.

I went to a private workshop here very recently with a group of people from an aerial studio we all go to and it was such an amazing experience! All the instructors are very friendly and supportive and tell you everything you need to know before flying and keep you very safe whilst doing so. It was such a fun day and I’m so glad to have done this and I will definitely be coming back!! Highly recommend!!
