Buttercup Hut

Buttercup Hut stands alone in open countryside near the Sussex Downs, surrounded by fields and farmland that stretch toward both the South Downs and the coast. The setting is rural and quiet, though the historic town of Lewes with its independent shops and pubs is within reach, as is Brighton for a seaside day out.

This is a compact, self-contained space on one level with a double bed, a combined living and dining area, and an induction hob and microwave for basic cooking. There's no fridge, but a cool box with ice is provided. The shower and toilet are in a separate external building 80 metres away. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included, along with initial logs for the wood burner. Outside, there's a sitting area with garden furniture, a fire pit and a barbecue for evening meals in the garden.

The hut suits two adults seeking a quiet countryside retreat. Parking is on site. Children are not accommodated, and smoking is not permitted.
