Fir Tree Holidays - Fir Trees
Wealden
Ashdown Forest is on the doorstep—miles of open heathland where you can walk to Pooh Sticks Bridge, spot deer, or simply sit with views across the High Weald. Crowborough itself has weekly markets, independent shops and pubs within reach on foot. Groombridge Place and Scotney Castle, both with notable gardens, are nearby for a day out. The town sits on the edge of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, surrounded by ancient woodland and rolling hills.
Fir Trees is a four-bedroom house sleeping eight, yours entirely for the stay. Ground floor has an open-plan living and dining space, a separate cinema room with its own TV, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer included. Upstairs are three bedrooms with kingsize beds; the fourth bedroom, also kingsize, is on the top floor. Four bathrooms means no queuing. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are all covered. There's an enclosed back garden with seating and furniture, and parking for three cars on site. One well-behaved dog stays free. No smoking throughout. Arrival is after 4pm, departure before 10am.
