I had a really lovely ride in the Ashdown Forest with the AFRC. The horses were so well behaved and our guide taught us all about the history of the forest as we rode through it. 100% recommend

If you want to switch off from the world then this is the place to go. It was like an old Alaskan wilderness cabin absolutely perfect for what me and the missus were looking for. The horses coming up to say high and the 20lb carp in the lake were just a bonus. The host where amazing too, we will definitely be back.

I booked a trek for me and my partner in September round Ashdown Forest. My partner was quite experienced with horses but I had no prior experience. We were accompanied by Stathis who was a great teacher and also really knowledgeable about the history of the forest. Had a really great time and would definitely recommend and come back!

Absolutely amazing getaway! Loved everything about it. Peace and quiet, only voices of wild animals and nature. Fireplace kept as (very!) warm in the winter, cooking food on it was a pleasure. If you like going away for amazing back to basics experience, that's your place. We will definitely be back!
